The PT-1425-00 is a perfect replacement BLACK TUSQ XL nut for 5 string type electric bases. The bottom (adhesive side) does not angle to the fingerboard surface. Pre-slotted for minimal processing and ready to use. The BLACK TUSQ XL series uses a thin Teflon membrane on the contact surface by friction with string vibrations to reduce the stress that is prone to concentration in one piece. This makes the string less likely to cut and makes tuning more stable.
